Reese 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2024 Honda CR-V

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Reese Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and we're gonna see how it fits in the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Whether you're looking to carry extra stuff with you or just get some messy stuff from the inside of your CR-V out, a cargo carrier is a great way to do that, especially one that's hitch mounted because one, they're generally a bit bigger and easier to reach, but two, generally better weight capacities than something putting on the roof. And this option from Reese is gonna be a pretty basic one. So I think this is gonna be ideal for the person that's not using their cargo carrier all the time. It's more of a special occasion-type thing, whether you're going out of town to visit some family and just need to carry some extra stuff with you. more

etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2024 Honda CR-V

Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer hitch-mounted cargo carrier and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Now whether you're running short on space on the inside of your CR-V and you're taking a road trip and you need somewhere to put everyone's luggage or camp supplies, or maybe you're just going to the hardware store, picking up bags of mulch, concrete, soil, things that tend to rip and make a mess inside the vehicle, in my opinion, are better kept outside because this is a lot easier to clean off than vacuuming out the carpet inside the cargo area. Regardless of what the reason is, a cargo carrier is a great way to just expand the space that your vehicle has. And I like the hitch-mounted carriers because, one, you're gonna get better weight capacity, and two, they're easier to reach than something on the roof. Now the weight capacity here is gonna be 500 pounds evenly distributed throughout the carrier. more

Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier Installation - 2024 Honda CR-V

Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods compact cargo carrier, and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Now, in general, cargo carriers are a great way to expand the cargo space of your vehicle. If your CR-V doesn't have enough room inside, you can always add to it on the hitch, or let's say you've got messy stuff that you never wanna bring inside the vehicle to begin with. Think like trips to the hardware store, bags of mulch, concrete, things that tend to rip and make a mess. It's a lot easier to keep it out here, and by attaching to the hitch, it's gonna be easier to reach, and generally give you much better weight capacities than something like a rooftop carrier. Now with this one being their compact carrier, it's important to mention that if you need more space, you can always go with a larger carrier. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Basket, and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Now, a hitch-mounted cargo carrier is a great way to carry extra stuff with you in your CR-V expanding on your cargo space or just keeping messy stuff out of the vehicle. It's a lot easier to clean this off with a hose than it is to vacuum out the carpet on the inside. And this option in particular being aluminum is gonna be very lightweight and easy to handle. So getting this down from maybe a wall hook in your garage to the hitch of your vehicle is gonna be really easy compared to the larger, bulkier, heavier steel cargo carriers. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Honda Odyssey

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2018 Honda Odyssey. Our Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier is a really solid constructed aluminum carrier. It's lightweight and corrosion resistant, at the same time being very sturdy, giving you a rating of up to 500 pounds. On the back of our Odyssey, it's minimally intrusive and we'll take a closer look at that. But as far as what you have out the box, you have two reflectors on the rear and you have a nice thick post on the top in order for your tie downs. The slats on the side aren't for tying down, they're just gonna help support the structure of the carrier itself and you have nice, thick bars going to length and width of the carrier, so that's gonna offer a lot of stability for you. more

And it is super heavy duty, supporting up to 500 pounds, giving you some really solid steel mesh on the bottom if you have finer items, so you don't have to worry about it falling through. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier on the back of the 2023 Honda Pilot. Now, the Pilot's gonna have a lot of room, but if you're carrying a lot of people and using that third row seat in the back, you're gonna be very limited on space. That's where this Flint Hill Goods Carrier is gonna come in hand, and especially if you have anything that's gonna be dirty, messy, has ice, snow, water on it. You don't want that in inside your vehicle, so this is gonna be a great choice for that. As stated earlier, it is made of aluminum, and it's weight is gonna be 18 pounds but it can still carry up to 500 pounds like most other carriers. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Compact Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Honda CR-V. Cargo carriers are a great way to carry extra stuff with you on your trips or maybe to the hardware store or maybe just have a great way to get some stuff out from the inside of your vehicle and move it outside because things like bags of concrete mulch, dirt, things that have a tendency to rip and make a mess inside our vehicle can be a hassle. Getting it out here, that mess is gonna maybe fall through some of the gaps or just be easier to clean up by hosing off the carrier when you get home. Much less of a headache than vacuuming out the inside of your vehicle. more

You can keep it out here outside where it's a lot easier to hose it off whenever you get home, get it cleaned up. And all these gaps in here, let all that dirt and debris fall through so it doesn't pool up and make a big mess. more

I've gone on many family vacations with my wife and kids and sometimes, if it's a long drive, we borrow my parents minivan. That's where this comes into play. This is an aluminum cargo carrier from etrailer, which, hitch-mounted, allows you to add real estate to the back of your vehicle and also looks great in the process. more

Clayton: Hi everybody, Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the 27x47" MaxxTow Cargo Carrier on our 2014 Honda CRV. Our cargo carriers are great because it allows us to get any extra cargo or anything that's wet and dirty out of our vehicle, not only making room for our passengers, but also keeping our car clean. This cargo carrier is exclusively going to be for your scooters, wheelchairs, and lawnmowers, anything on wheels or bigger items, that's why we have this loading ramp. This loading ramp's really nice, secured with a hook and loop material strap that's extra long. All you have to do is pull our clips out on each side, and then we simply lift up on our ramp like so, and fold it out and set it down. This is going to give us plenty of room to roll or drive anything up onto the cargo carrier. more

Hi there, CR-V owners. Today on our 2019 Honda CR-V, we're going to be taking a look at Rola's cargo carrier and you're probably wondering why I'm standing in the back of the cargo carrier. Well, I'm just showing off its immense carrying capacity of 600 pounds. That's three of me. Most cargo carriers don't boast a capacity this high and I can tell based just by standing in it that it feels sturdier than many of the other cargo carriers out there, particularly the mesh located here at the bottom. As you can see, we're going to have plenty of room to even get a full-size cooler, as well as some other gear inside the cargo carrier. The usable space inside of our cargo carrier is going to be 24 inches long, by 60 inches wide, and the inside walls are going to be about 5 1/2 inches tall, and you can see we have plenty of spots to hook on any straps to make sure our gear is secure. Now our Reese Cargo Carrier, if you look at the hitch, you can see that it actually comes up to a rise when it comes out. We're going to have a 2 1/2 inch rise on the shank. That way it gives us a little bit more ground clearance, so you don't have to worry about anything bottoming out back here. Now one thing you do want to keep in mind is how tall you stack everything. more
